Anga2 is one of our multirotor drones weighing approximately 1.8kgs with a payload camera capable of live video transmission to a handheld monitor. The flight control was implemented with a Pixhawk flight controller board compatible with a PPM receiver for remote control. The functioning of every module was achieved through proper calibrations using mission planner. ESP32 board is implemented for live video streaming over Wi-Fi. Anga2 arming is based on GPS locking system for initialization of flight through firing up of the electronic speed controllers and the ReadytoSky BLDC motors for a flight time of approximately 20 minutes.
With the recent research advancements in artificial intelligence, our design and implementation are currently geared towards development of intelligent drones capable of operating autonomously in unknown and uncertain environments while performing a task.
